New Jersey Interventional Radiology Symposium 2026
Join us for an immersive exploration of clinical innovation, procedural excellence, and the next generation of interventional radiology.
About NJIRS
The 8th Annual New Jersey Interventional Radiology Symposium is a New Jersey student-led conference organized in partnership with medical student interventional radiology organizations from all given New Jersey medical schools. The symposium was created to address a growing need, both statewide and nationally, to increase medical student exposure to IR and highlight the field's innovation, impact, and career pathways.
Our mission is to share a passion for IR through engaging, interactive discussions with leaders in the field while fostering meaningful connections among students and professionals.
The symposium will feature expert speakers, panel discussions, and extensive networking opportunities. This year's speakers and honored guests will join us from Cooper, Jefferson, Mount Sinai New York, Rutgers, University of Pennsylvania, Weill Cornell, and private practice. Programming will highlight various emerging topics and residency pathways. Interactive exhibits from leading IR technology companies will be showcased, along with an educational case competition open to all medical students.
Attendees can expect an immersive experience that includes live case discussions, and meaningful opportunities to connect with leaders shaping the future of interventional radiology.
About Our Case Competition
The case competition is open to all residents, fellows, and medical students. The top 2 cases will be presented live at the symposium and will receive a prize package each!
